After my adoption party at PAWS, I spent the night with my sidekick Romeo and his sassy sister Alley one more time.
I thanked Romeo for letting me crash with him. "No problem," said Romeo. "You are going to like having your own home."
In the car, on my way to Jerry's, I told everybody who passed by that I was going home! I just had to share my good news with the world!
Aunt Trina was at my new home when I got there, and she was so excited to show me my new backyard. "It's all for you, Sid," she said.
This is my yard, and I love it!
I went back into my home, took off my coat and posed for some new family photos with Marcy and Jerry.
Then I met Gary. "Is this the infamous Sid?" he asked.
"It certainly is," said Jerry.
"He's the best Greyhound ever!" said Marcy.
I am the luckiest boy in the whole world! I am now living in the forever home of my dreams!
I asked Aunt Trina, Barbara and Annie to sit with me for a photo to remind me of the good times we all had on the Sid-athon!
Barbara gave me big hug and told me to go play in my yard.
My yard!!!
I don't mean to brag, but isn't it nice?
After I was done 'sploring, I asked Aunt Trina if I could rest with her.
I snuggled in and took one last nap on Aunt Trina's lap.
Then it was time to say good-bye to Barbara, Aunt Trina and Annie. I hugged and kissed all of them and said, "Thank you for bringing me home."
Thank you, my friends, for following me on my journey to my forever home. I hope you enjoyed my story and meeting me and my friends.
My journey has ended, and I am now home, but many of my friends, who I met along the tour, are still looking for their forever homes. Maybe you should adopt a Greyhound!
Happy tails to you, until we meet again, my friends!
