Sid Update: Villa Park Meet & Greet

Hello everyone. I hope you are enjoying my adventures as I search for my forever home. I met some wonderful Greyhounds and their people this past weekend. First I want to tell you about the Villa Park Meet & Greet I went to on Sunday, where I met a couple of lovely ladies!

This gorgeous girl here is Zippy.

Zippy is what is called a "cow" dog. I have to say, this statuesque beauty is the skinniest cow I've ever seen!

Here is Zippy's sister, Onyx, and that's their mom, Darlene, sitting at the table. As you can see, we were all getting into the holiday spirit.

I put these antlers on and told people that I was Santa's Little Helper, which made them laugh and pet me.

Onyx got into the holiday spirit by modeling this Santa/Shriner's hat.

Then Onyx told Zippy it was her turn to wear the hat, but Zippy wasn't very happy about it at first.

Everyone told Zippy how cute and festive she looked, and then she didn't mind the hat so much after all.

Finally the time came to say good-bye to these gorgeous gals and their parents, Dave and Darlene, who spent a lot of time making me feel special.

By the way, don't I pose well? Look at how handsome I am in my purple coat!

Thanks Zippy, Onyx, Dave & Darlene for a Sid-tastic day!

Stay tuned for more pictures from the Petco leg of the tour.
